Paddleboard Building Demo This Thursday Night

You are invited to a Board Building Demonstration/Seminar at our facility this Thursday night (Feb 18th) from 6-8pm.

We will be discussing and demonstrating:

• Fin Systems, installation and locating fins. We will show FCS, Futures, Probox, and Longboard box fin installation techniques.


• Graphics and Logos


• Non-Skid Options


• Shaping


• Glassing

At 7pm we will have a glassing demo where we do a multi-color lamination.

We will also have on hand our wood kit boards, including the Mahi-Mahi standup paddleboard, the 18' Stinger Laydown paddleboard, and Frame kits from Wood Surfboard Supply.

This is a great opportunity to come out and get your board building questions answered as well as seeing how it's done.

I have gotten a lot of requests from customers that won't be able to make it to video this and put it up on the website. We intend to do so.

SUP- Paddleboard Building Demo Night Feb 18th

We will be hosting a demo night on Feb 18th from 6 to 8pm that will cover the different aspects of Stand Up Paddleboard building.

We will discuss the various types of materials available from foam cores to hollow wood kits. We will also go over different fin options and fin system installation, including doing some actual fin box installations.

While we are predominantly focusing on stand up paddleboards, many of the techniques that we will cover also apply to surfboard building and the laminating techniques are very simular to those used in kayak and canoe building.
