In response to the shortage of 3K fiber and the need for a lightweight cloth, JB Martin has began weaving a 12K spread carbon that comes in at 6.2oz per square yard.  We have sampled this out to some of our local manufacturers and received good responses on its workability and excellent responses on its looks.  It looks really good.  We are expecting to be able to get this on an on going basis however the supply is limited and material not dedicated to allocation is on a first come first serve basis.
